Earlville, IA - Todd Patterson, Augusta, Kan., successfully separated himself from Bruno Massel, Elmhurst, Ill., in the Comp Eliminator finale. Patterson hit a winning pass of 7.813, 168.45 on the strip defeating Massel, who ran 7.153, 156.95.

Earlville, IA - Trevor Larson, Starbuck, Minn., beat Cal Belden, Aberdeen, S.D., with a 8.84 second, 163.28 mph lap in the Super Comp final while Jerry Jones, Indianola, Iowa, drove his ’81 Monte Carlo to the win taking out Wayne Christopher Milan, Ill., in Super Street.

Earlville, IA - Another Lucas Oil racer visiting the winner’s circle twice this weekend and doubling-up was Phil Unruh, McPherson, Kan. Unruh won in Super Stock and in the Fineline Madcap Top Dragster Series. In Super Stock, he faced off against Larry Vierregger, Omaha, Neb., and posted a winning run of 8.594 seconds, 148.80 mph over Vierregger’s runner-up finish of 10.574 seconds, 125.85 mph. In Top Dragster, Unruh faced off against Roland Rang, Sioux Falls, S.D., and scored a winning run of 6.427 seconds, 207.21 mph

Earlville, IA - Nick Folk was better on both ends of the track to defeat David Harrington in the Fineline Madcap Top Dragster class while Landon Stallbaumer took a close one over Tyler Banks in Super Comp.

Earlville, IA - Mike Lund and Tyler Wudarczyk each scored victories as Lund beat Fred Bartoli Sr. in Super Stock and Wudarczyk won over Michael Brand in Stock. Lund, Bettendorf, Iowa, went 10.086 at 115 mph in his '88 Camaro while Wudarczyk jumped to the No. 3 position in Stock points behind Brand.
