Spokane, WA - "We had some good events this past year, but we really feel that NHRA offers more opportunities for success,” said track manager Craig Smith. “We are overhauling our timing system and making improvements all around the facility looking forward to a great season in 2016.”

Spokane, WA - In the final results from Spokane County Raceway and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, it was a family affair with Eddy Plaizier taking his third win in a row in Super Gas and his son Casey Plaizier, who took the win here last year in Stock, followed up with another win in Super Street.

Spokane, WA - Four heading to Summit National Championship - Woodburn Dragstrip Takes Home Team Title. Mark Simmons led the list of winners that are heading to the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship. Joining Simmons are Chris Stone, AJ Tibbetts and Jeff Havens who will face off with Summit Division Champions from the six other NHRA divisions from across the country.

Spokane, WA - Gary Waldo, Hillsboro, Ore., grabbed the win in Stock Eliminator against Mick Alley, Eagle, Idaho, and Buff Kobs, Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, ran down Brett Hordemann, Otis Orchard, Wash., for the win in the Sportsman Motorcycle Series presented by Harley Davidson.

Spokane, WA - In Super Comp it was Jim Glenn, Vancouver, Wash., winning on a hole-shot, running 9.045 seconds at 169.10 mph to Mike Shannon’s quicker but loosing 9.040, 163.20.Wrapping up the winner’s list were four racers familiar to the act with Jeff Lane, Mark Faul, Jody Lang and Mike Ferderer each taking wins in their respective categories.

Spokane County Raceway Added to NHRA Lucas Oil Schedule

Glendora, CA - NHRA officials announced today the addition of Spokane County Raceway to the NHRA Northwest Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. The Northwest Thunderfest event, scheduled for July 29-August 1, will be the third in the series taking the total number of events to six in the division and 40 in the series.
