Charlotte, NC - Sean Bellemeur raced to the NHRA Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Funny Car World Championship then capped it off with the event win at the NHRA Carolina Nationals presented by WIX Filers at zMAX Dragway.

Charlotte, NC - In the Top Sportsman presented by RacingRVs.com final round, O’Neil, Evansville, Ind., gave up the starting line advantage to North Carolina runner, Sandy Wilkins of Mount Ulla. But O’Neal was able to run down Wilkins for the win finishing at 6.903 seconds, 193.29 mph.

Concord, NC - The Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series was in full effect this past weekend during the 10th annual NHRA Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway. Frank Aragona and John Labbous Jr., both moved closer to National Championship rings with final round victories Sunday.

Charlotte, NC - Perennial winner Peter Biondo bagged another win in Super Stock moving him to 26 wins in this class, and 50 career wins overall. A highlight of the event was John Labbous, Jr., White House, Tenn., doubling up his Wally trophy collection with wins in Super Comp and Super Gas.

Concord, NC - Fans cheered on as winners were crowned in the action packed NHRA Nationals at zMax Dragway in Concord, N.C. Champions were recognized in Top Alcohol Dragster, Funny Car, as well as Comp Eliminator, Stock, Super Comp and the rest of the classes that encompass the nationwide series.

Charlotte, NC - Bryan Worner and Ray Miller rounded out the winners this weekend at zMAX Dragway as Worner, Duncannon, Pa., defeated Herbie Null Jr., in Super Stock with a big holeshot and repeating his win here in 2014. Miller, Spring City, Tenn., won on a holeshot as well beating Danny Waters Jr., LaGrange, N.C., for his fourth national event win.

Charlotte, NC - Mike Sawyer is making a late push for Super Gas National Champion, and helped his case as he picked up the trophy here in Charlotte. Jeff Burns got off the line first, but Sawyer was able to draw him in with a 9.975 second, 154.79 mph pass and a margin of victory of less than two feet

Charlotte, NC - Lynn Ellison had to run down Jeff Burns who was out first in the Top Dragster final. Ellison, Central City, Ky., covered the quarter-mile in 6.361, 212.43 to Burns’ 6.670, 199.97 out of Mount Juliet, Tenn. The win was Ellison’s sixth and first in Top Dragster.

Gainsville, FL - Brad Plourd grabbed NHRA national event win number 18 while Greg Trew scored his first at the delayed Pep Boys NHRA Carolina Nationals that were completed this weekend at the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event at Auto Plus Raceway in Gainesville, Fla.
