Auto Club NHRA Finals - Sportsman Results

Pomona, CA - Steve Williams locked up the 2018 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Super Comp World Championship and David Rampy won his 100th NHRA national event this weekend at Auto Club Raceway and the Auto Club NHRA Finals.

Pomona, CA - Dan Fetcher, Churchville, N.Y., took home his 103rd win running 8.344, 132.86 in his ’08 Cobalt to end Clint Neff’s day and local racer Kevin McClelland of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., took home the Super Gas title in defeating Phil Unruh from McPherson, Kan. The win was number five for McClelland and his ’27-T Ford.

Pomona, CA - Bobby Dye and Steve Parsons each won their third NHRA national event Wally trophy as Dye won in Super Comp and Parsons in Super Gas. Dye, Ontario, Calif., and Tanner Theobald, Saint George, Utah, left the line together with Dye running 8.904 on the 8.90 index for the win.
