Figspeed West Coast Classic Returns to Auto Club Dragway

The 2nd Annual Figspeed West Coast Classic comes to Auto Club Dragway this weekend June 3-5th. Racepak Super Pro and Lucas Oil Pro racers will have their opportunity at nearly $75,000 in Guaranteed Money and over $40,000 in Racer Appreciation Prizes and Give a Ways.

Gates will open Thursday at 12 noon for parking, tech, and registration. Main gate on Cherry Avenue will be racer access for the entire weekend. Entry fees for the weekend, $260 for Super Pro (Electronics) and $160 for Pro (Non-electronics).

Friday the track hosted Test-N-Tune will run from 9am to 6pm for $50 (No run card) with the Silver State Refrigeration Run For the Money Shoot-Out starting at 2:30. Entry will be $20 at the back of the lanes, with the best 8 packages in both Super Pro and Pro advancing to the Shoot-Out. Cars will be laddered in their respective class and the winning representative in each will face off at the end of the day for $1,500 to win and $500 to Runner-Up.

That evening, TT Designs presents the WCC Practice Tree Tournament at the Forsyth Motorsports trailer behind the main grand stand that guarantees to pay $1,000 to the winner. This is open to all racers, crew, family, and kids that want to participate. Entries are $20 with a max of 3 for $50. Entries will be available at the front gate Thursday and up until 6pm at the trailer Friday.

Saturday and Sunday will bring Lucas Oil Pro ($3,000 to Win) and Racepak Super Pro ($5,000 to Win) to the lanes. ALL entries will get a time run Saturday, Sunday time runs will be limited to only new entries. Buybacks will be available for $40 in Pro and $60 in Super Pro at the Classic Ice Cream Stand in the back of the lanes, where every buyback and all kids can get a free scoop of ice cream. Best Losing Packages, Big Checks, and custom Classic trophies will all be up for grabs.

Saturday evening, West Coast Equipment presents the Huntsville Engine 64-Car Super Pro Shoot-Out for $15,000 to Win and Meziere Enterprises 32-Car Pro Shoot-Out for $5,000 to win. These will be contested to the 1/8th mile under the lights, with a time run scheduled prior to first round. Racer Appreciation Party will be in full swing during the Shoot-Outs with dinner from Rosa Marias and give-a-ways throughout the night.

Throughout the weekend, racers will have opportunities to capitalize on other great prizes and cash give-a-ways as well including:

- LINCOLN WELDERS “Dead On Zero” Raffle – All racers going dead on their dial with a zero in eliminations will have an entry to receive a Lincoln Welder and Complete Welder Kit

- STARRETT ENGINEERING will present a set of precision tools with a tool bag and a t-shirt to ALL semi-finalists both days in Racepak Super Pro and Lucas Oil Pro main events.

- ALTRONICS will be giving Saturdays’ main event winners a Quick Tree Practice Tree and $100 Gift Certificates and Sundays’ winners Perform Aire PA2 Weather Stations. All Main event runner-ups will receive Raceworks Electronic Logbook Programs

- STRANGE ENGINEERING “.000 Raffle for Dragsters” – All dragsters .000 in eliminations Saturday and Sunday are entered for a chance to win a set of Strange Ultra Series Mono Tube Shocks

- QUICKFUEL TECHNOLOGY presents the “Best Losing Package of the Event” for each of the Saturday Night Shoot-Outs. Winners will receive an 850 Carb with a Fuel Pump

- AEROMOTIVE is giving away a A3000 Fuel Pump w/ Regulator to the 1st Super Pro Door Car that is .000 in Eliminations.

- HUGHES Performance “Best Winning Package” in Super Pro will receive a Torque Converter of choice and the runner-up will get a $500 Gift Certificate

- BRODIX “Best Winning Package” in Pro will receive a $1,000 Gift Certificate

- LINDSAY RACING PRODUCTS will give away a set of front wheels to the first dragster lighting it up .000 in reaction time

- KIDD PERFORMANCE has put up $150 CASH to the first .000 in both classes/both days, this will include Saturday Time Runs

- SPECIALTY FASTENERS “Bounty Award” will be available Sunday for the racers taking out Saturdays’ main event winners
