The rich and prestigious Ultimate 64 Shootout returns to Mountain Park Dragway in Clay City, KY June 12-14.  The 10th annual event, which is presented by Racing RV's, will feature an action-packed weekend of racing and good times.  As always, the highlight of the weekend will be the $50,000-to-win Ultimate 64 Shootout, which will feature an elite field of 64 pre-entered drivers vying for the largest purse of the weekend on Saturday night.  In addition, racers will have the opportunity to compete for a $10,000 winner's purse on all three-days of the event, plus a multitude of "Hi-Roller"? gambler events throughout the weekend.

The Ultimate 64 weekend kicks off with parking on Wednesday, June 10 from 6:00-10:00 PM.  Thursday will bring the traditional Ultimate 64 golf outing, Texas Hold-Em tournament and Racer's Appreciation Party presented by May Race Cars.  The party will feature a live performance from B-Caged and a huge complimentary barbecue cookout.

On-track action begins Friday, with the first of three SRS Manufacturing Ultimate 10's.  The Ultimate 10's are open to all competitors, no pre-entry necessary.  Daily entry is $150, or racers can enter all three Ultimate 10's for just $350.  New for 2015: payout begins with third round winners!  In addition, Friday will feature the Racing RV's 64 Hi-Roller, a pre-entered field of 64 racers competing for a $8,000 top prize.

Saturday, June 13 will bring the second SRS Manufacturing Ultimate 10, along with the crown jewel: the Estes Oil Company Ultimate 64 $50,000 main event.

Sunday, action will commence with the final SRS Manufacturing Ultimate 10, along with the Fraternal Order of Orioles nest 263 Ultimate Gambler; a 32-car pre-entered field featuring a $8,000 winner's purse.  Due to overwhelming demand, event promoters have also added a second 32-car gamblers race to Sunday's program (not included on the flyer).  This special gamblers race will host 32 pre-entered competitors and pay $5,000 to the winner.

Racers, crew members, and fans will have the unique opportunity to take a ride with multi-time NHRA champion Jeg Coughlin, Jr. in the JEGS Chevy II Station Wagon at the Ultimate 64 Shootout.  Empty Pockets Promotions will host a raffle to "Ride with Jeg" on both Friday and Saturday.  Raffle tickets can be purchased throughout the event, and all of the proceeds to go the JEGS Foundation for Cancer Research.  One lucky winner on Friday and Saturday will be selected to take a ride down the race track with Jeg in the JEGS Performance Chevy II wagon!

"The promoters of the Ultimate 64, Kelly Estes and Randy Helton, have come up with a unique raffle in which one winner will get to ride with me in my Chevy II and the proceeds go directly to Cancer Research; that's a win-win," said 6-time NHRA Champion Jeg Coughlin, Jr.  "It's not often in the world of motorsports or drag racing that a fan can get to ride-along down the dragstrip with me and I am honored to be a part of this and to raise funds for Cancer Research."
