The West Coast Classic Bracket Race is proud to announce Figspeed as the title sponsor for the inaugural event June 12-14, 2015, at Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, CA. This 3-Day Event is set to host the best bracket racers on the west coast with guaranteed payouts of $5,000 to win Super Pro and $3,000 to win Pro, Bonus Shoot-Out Races, cash and product give-a-ways, special awards, and a racer appreciation party Saturday night.

Les Figueroa, long time bracket racer and former NHRA National and Divisional Winner, who owns Figspeed says, ” Figspeed has always been dedicated to the sportsman racer. Our goal and satisfaction is to provide the right part at the right moment to keep the racers on the track racing. Attending as many events as possible is the best way for Figspeed to provide that service. The West Coast Classic is another great opportunity for us to stay connected with all of our west coast bracket racers. Working with Brad and Chris, as well as Auto Club Dragway on this event is very exciting and we see a huge weekend of racing in the works.”

Based in Henderson, NV, Figspeed has evolved into one of the most reliable, and multi-faceted, speed shops in the country with their trackside availability and mail order program. Owner Les Figueroa developed his “vision” of the Figspeed sportsman tech and support trailer during his 9-year tenure traveling the country with Mallory Ignition.

“I spent those years traveling to every NHRA National Event, the Indy 500, and select IHRA National Events and NHRA Divisional Races. We serviced magnetos, distributors, CD ignitions, built and flowed fuel pumps on the only state of the art (at that time) flow bench available in the pits to Pro and Sportsman racers alike. It was over the course of my time with Mallory that I realized the need for a sportsman oriented trailer support program at the grass-roots level. Many of the companies participating in the NHRA contingency program at the National Event level did not have the resources to attend sportsman only events and in 1997 I introduced the Figspeed Trailer”, says Figueroa.

Since its foundation, Figspeed has provided the peak representation and support for some of the biggest companies in the industry and introduced them to sportsman racers allover the west coast. “Companies such as Auto Meter, Aeromotive, Comp Cams, Dedenbear, F.A.S.T., Lucas Oil, Moroso, MSD, Ron Davis Products, Racepak, Painless Wiring, TCI, Quick Fuel Technologies, NOS, RHS, Strange Engineering, and XRP are all companies that have made my vision of the Figspeed Trailer a reality to attend races allover the west coast and the country. We service and troubleshoot issues first-hand for the racers on these companies’ behalf. We know that without these companies’ support, none of this would be possible, and this keeps their customers racing when mis-haps come along”.
