Hi everyone and long time no type. It's finally getting out of the rainy season and the racing is heating up so that means the father daughter racing team of Lynn and Madison Ellison is back at it! While the weather has kept the racing so far to a minimum the on track action has been very good.

This year we are trying something much more challenging than we thought it would be NHRA Top Dragster, which is 6 second, 200 mph dragsters....uh are we really sure we really want to do this, Lynn said as Shannon bolted him into the Pirate dragster! Well 6.8 seconds later the chute came out and we were officially in one of the fastest Top Dragster race in history that took a 7.02 run to get in at Indy! Our next Top Dragster race was in Norwalk, OH and we qualified 12th with a 6.84, 191 mph run and made it to the final 8...hey we might be able to do this!

The next stop on the tour was Windy Hollow dragway and the Jeg's Super Quick series which features equally fast dragsters just a shorter distance, 1/8th mile. Well we still remember how to win...that's a relief! As we took our first win of the season, with that win it propelled us to top 10 positions in the points in both Jeg's Super Quick and Spitzer Top Dragster...not bad for an old guy, a beautiful lady and two cool little girls!

Madison even got to race her WKTG 93.9 junior dragster, she did great getting to the final few cars each day and her driving is getting really good. All she needs is a few more races and look out she is gonna be awesome!

Looking ahead at the schedule in June we have a Spitzer Top Dragster race in Joliet, IL a big money bracket race the Jeg's US OPEN in Indy and a Jeg's Super Quick race in Muncie, IN....hey when are we going to the boat?

The Ellison racing team consist of 4 time NHRA National event winner and 17 time NHRA wally winner Lynn Ellison and his junior dragster driving daughter twelve year old Madison Ellison along with wife and crew chief Shannon the cute one and Mallory the youngest but the boss of us all! We are spending time chasing this circus of a life that is NHRA drag racing, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose but we do it all as a family and learn each and every day how blessed we are just to be able to do something we all love...well at least we love it sometimes!
