Day #2 is completed. A great hot sunny day with no weather dealys. Scotty Richardson, yesterday runner up drove Chris Wilsons dragster to the win of the Ray Miller dragster shootout over Mike Brumfield. Jeff Oneil was the winner of the 1k Harlow Tire dial for dollars. The final was a shocking two door cars. Roy St. Dennis, winner of the Michigan 50K race defeated Gary May from Indiana. $15k to the winner and 10K to the runner up after the split. Lone semi was Jeremy Bargo. 1/4 Finals where Jeff Ledford. Chuck Mink and Wes May. Chris Bear was the winner of the best overall package in eliminations today with .003 that won him a complete Rons Fuel injection system.Terry Young had the first perfect light in rnd #1 to recieve the 5 day free entry to the Moroso Winter series in November. The Varsity Ford Door car challange went to St. Dennis.Lane ****en was the winner of the $100 32 entry scooter race over Troy Williams JR. Winner recieved $1200 and runner up $800. Semi's $200. $800 was given to the Tri-State dragway staff for staying the rest of the evening to complete this fun filled event.Roy St. Dennis is your Jegs points leader after day two.

Day one of the BTE US OPEN is in the books. A great crowd on hand for the 1st ever event. 203 cars made the first round call with threating weather all day. With 20m minutes to spare before curfew, Tracy Sons driving the DRR race Tech Dragster defeated Scotty Richardson. Both drivers .008 on the tree and Tracy was 5.026 0n a 5.02 dial. Scotty was .007 under getting there first by .013. Lone semi was Brad Childers was the only semi. Allan Fetter was rthe first .ooo light for the free entry fee to the Mid-Michigan Motorplex 50k race in August. Stay tuned for Saturday 20k race results and Miller dragster shoot-out results.
