The DRR GoodYear Racing Series went to the legendary Texas raceway this weekend for the Race Tech Longhorn Bracket Nationals.The locals wern't dissapointed as a huge turn out of bracket racers packed the 1/8 mile track.saturday alone over 1300 runs were made down the track along with thousands of dollars in prize and contengency money were paid out.
Daryl Hamlin Jr from Irving Texas cousin of Nascar racer Denny Hamlin not only won the JEGS Friday night Gambler he pocketed $5000 Saturday in BTE S/Pro when he defeated Texas racer local standout racer Debbie Palmer in the final.Jeff Endicott and Robbie Mayse were the semi finalist.Bryan Anderson was the Barker Trailer Sales Pace American Run For The Trailer Winner.
In The Special Jegs 16 Car $5000 Shootout Rusty Rose from Levellland Texas defeated Brad Hawk all the way from Tucson Arizona when Hawk had trouble off the starting line.
In Jegs Sportsman it was all Jeff Hefler as he defeated Colton Vassar from Kennedale in his Mopar.Hefler used a .029 6.432 on a 6.38 for the win.Brian Washington was the Run For The Trailer winner in Jegs Sportsman.

In Race Tech Jr Dragster it was a all girl match up as JJ Gossett from san Angelo defeated the Red Hot Misty Mayse from Frost Texas.Mayse was .006 to Gossett's .029 but JJ ran 7.970 on a .796 for the win over Masyse's 8.454 on a 8.42.Cory Marr was the Run For The Money winner.
In JEGs Trophy it was Sean Hollis over Dave Hendricks.

Other notes Corey Beatty was a K&R Challenge winner and Randall reid was the second winner in two weeks in the CSR Dead on Challenge with another perfect run pocketing $100 cash.

Sundays action saw a door car dragster match up.Tony Davis defeated Billy Rumbo's Mopar when he broke out by .001 for the $5000 payday.

Rustin Mayse and Bryan Anderson was the semi finalist.Rodney Parks was the Run For The Trailer winner.
Jeff Hefler was the winner of Sunday's NO E action and Mike Hollis was the Run For The trailer winner.
For The second day in a row Misty Mayse from Frost Texas found herself in the final only to fall short again.this time Kyle Rickman took her out.Mayse went 8.438 on a 8.43 but it wasn't good enogh for the win.Gunner Courtney was the Jr Dragster Run For the money winner.
In Jegs Trophy it was Robert Roper over Dave Hendricks.
