Folk Promotions to Debut Mini Million Florida $40's

The Florida 40’s will certainly entice a wide range of racers from Southern locals and snowbirds to traveling check chasers and big-money bracket race enthusiasts.

Gainesville, FL - In the Factory Stock Showdown, Stephen Bell, Shreveport, La., in his Chevy Camaro dialed in with 8.176 seconds and 167.47 mph. took home the victory with Aaron Stanfield, Bossier City, La., coming in as runner-up.

Gainesville, FL - Van Puckett, Monroe, Ga., took the starting line but was unable to hold off a charging Kamplain, Brownsburg, Ind., who took home the Comp Eliminator Wally after the dust settled. The champion peaked out at 6.816 seconds, 193.46 mph.

NHRA Summit ET Finals - Southeast Division 2 Results

Rockingham, NC - Gainesville Raceway won the NHRA Southeast Division Summit Racing Series Team Championship over Bristol Dragway and Atlanta Dragway, while Brendan George led the list of individual winners at the Southeast Division Summit Finals at Rockingham Dragway.

Amalie Motor Oil Gatornationals - Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Results
3/21/2017
Gainesville, FL - Piedmont, Ala., racer David Rampy took the starting line against Wes Leopold, Bethel Park, Pa., in the final round of Comp Eliminator. Leopold took off too soon, fouling at the line. Rampy registered victory pass of 8.099, 118.68. The Alabama racer defeated Jenny Treadwell in semifinals to advance to the final round.
