No Problem Raceway today announced the appointment of Cody Pollage to Track Manager. The NHRA, ¼-mile dragstrip, which is located near Donaldsonville, LA, is only 60 minutes from New Orleans and 40 minutes from Baton Rouge.
Cody Pollage, 25, from Plaquemine, LA, has been an employee of No Problem Raceway for more than nine years. His past duties have included grounds maintenance, water box worker, staging lanes manager, tower control and race official.
Kent Broussard, partner of No Problem Raceway, said, “It may appear to those who don’t know Cody that he is quite young for this position. However, his experience in drag racing and his familiarity with No Problem Raceway goes way beyond his age. He has worked in nearly every phase of operations in drag racing and we are excited to have him fill this important role as we move into our 10th year of ownership.”
Mr. Pollage is a second generation bracket racer and is also currently a successful big-money bracket race promoter, who created and promotes The Southern Big Bucks Nationals, which will be held at No Problem Raceway on February 8-11, 2018. He has also been honored four times by National Dragster Magazine as National Dragster Contributor of the Year.
Broussard continued, “Cody has been a big part of No Problem Raceway for as long as our ownership group has been here and we have the utmost confidence in him moving us forward in a very positive way. He has already made some exciting changes to our racing program for 2018 and secured a number of events that will be new to our facility this coming year!’
