Tracy Sons Gallatin, Tennessee |
Tracy is a second generation racer who was literally raised at the track. Street bracket racing is where it all began in 1991 driving a 1974 Mopar Duster. The amazing thing about Tracy is that he has the skill to win no matter what he is driving.
Several racers have asked him to drive their cars. He has been known to race three different cars, all in different brackets and still comes out on top. Tracy currently owns a Mark Williams, Slip Joint Moper Dragster.

His recent wins include the Southern Survival at Music City Raceway, in Joelton, Tennessee driving a 67 Camaro, owned by John Keegan of Hendersonville, Tennessee. This win awarded him $5,000. |
| On the 4th of July, the Rocket City Nationals were held in Huntsville Alabama where he took the win for $10,000 driving his Mark William's Slip Joint, Mopar Dragster. |

On July 18th in Bowling Green Kentucky, Beech Bend Raceway Park hosted the Tenn Tuck Bracket Bash. Tracy Sons was a winner taking home a check for $10,000. He was driving a Danny Nelson Dragster, owned by Monty Short of Portland, Tennessee. |
| Music City Raceway is his home track where he has had numerous wins and runner up finishes in the Super Pro brackets and in the Foot Brake class. He has won many races back to back at Music City, where some racers consider the competition as tough as it gets! |

Tracy also has been busy on the home front with the arrival of his first son, Tracy Dillon Sons. I guess we can look for the third generation to be making his way to the track real soon. Good Luck to you and your new family! We look forward to seeing you in the winners circle!
Tracy wanted to thank his dad, Danny Sons, Sr. for all his support through the years and his sponsors: Torco Racing Fuels and Dragraceresults.com.
