Ron comes to us from Portage Lakes, Ohio. He has been racing for nine years. His current race car is an Undercover 4-Link Dragster. This will be Ron's 5th year of traveling to the Big Money races, and with his record of wins, we can all see why! The previous years have yielded multiple $5,000 and $10,000 win titles, with 1998 being a banner season. Last season he was in 21 finals, winning 16 times. The highlight victories included:

Bill Mitchel/Computech Series -$5,000

Bill Mitchel/Computech Series - $10,000 (These two wins led to the Series Points Championship)

National Event win: IHRA World Nationals - Quick Rod

Halloween Classic at Norwalk Raceway Park in Ohio (This event is the largest sportsman race in the country with 1,550 entries)

The 1999 racing season is off to a GREAT START!

Ron's first two races were the B&M Racing Series in Rockingham and Atlanta. He won Sunday at Rockingham, Friday at Atlanta, and runner-up on Saturday at Atlanta (27 consecutive round wins). His next two races have been a semi-final finish at the Tenn Tuck in Bowling Green, KY and a quarter-final finish in Quick Rod at the IHRA Spring Nationals in Rockingham.
Ron has also taken home the win at Maple Grove Raceway in Pennsylvania and also won $5,000 at the B&M Series in Memphis TN.

His plans for the season include "Big Money" races such as the MegaBuck races in St. Louis, the B&M Series, The Million Dollar Race at Huntsville, AL and the entire Florida Winter Series.
