May's Car of the Month, Ben Mchaney, comes to us from Hunington, IN
 |
Ben started racing five years ago with a 1967 Camaro. Then purchased a 1972 Nova SuperSport, and in 1998 purchased a new Danny Nelson hard tail dragster. Ben decided in 1999 to purchase a 1996 UnderCover Chassis four link dragster and loved it! |
|
For the year 2000 he has a 2000 UnderCover Chasis four link dragster which caught our eye as I'm sure many other racers at Bowling Green, KY during the Tenn Tuck Bracket Bash in March. The custom paint on the car was done by Dan Goodie of Leesburg, Fla. This four link beauty has a 468 Chevy Engine, Coan Trans, Bogart Wheels, KR delay box, BM Pro Bandit Shifter, Auto Meter Gauges, and Hoosier Tires.
The attention to detail on this car is just incredible. The next time you see Ben at the races, this is one car you will definately want to see up close! On most occassions Ben Mchaney will have his good friend Tom Buehler from Hunington, Indiana drive his cars. He has proven to Ben to be a winner and that is what Ben wants...to win races, and look good doing it! |

"Special thanks go first to God, for the blessings to be able to race, my lovely wife for all of her support and my dear friends. Glenn Julius, Gerald Ingles, and Tom Buehler. Without you guys my car wouldn't roll. Also thanks to Kurt Damron, owner of UnderCover Chassis, for all the special input that was put into my car."
