June's Racer of the Month is John Bridges

John began racing in the fall of 1991. Being involved mostly with local brackets in his home state of Polkville, N.C. it didn't take long to learn that the Big Money races was where it was at. It was in 1997 that John got his first of many victories to come. He was driving a Chevy Vega at the time he took home the B&M Racer Appreciation Series Points Championships in 1997. John Bridges
Our July Racer of the Month!

The next decision was the switch from a door car to a 4-Link dragster for the 1998 season. Race-Tech out of Burlington, N.C., built the dragster, and the success continued. There were many races won during the 1998 season, including the B&M Racer Appreciation Series Pro Points Championship.

John would like to thank George Howard and Steve Earwood, (the hosts of the B&M Series) for putting on quality races at an affordable price. Thanks also go to Race-Tech Race Cars, Buriington, N.C., L.A.R.S Auto Repair, Kings Montain, N.C., John's brother, David, and the rest of all his family and great friends through the years.
