This 41 Willys Coup Super Gas and Super Pro Car is owned and driven by Danny Shemwell. Danny comes to us from Elkton, Kentucky where he also owns and operates a preowned car lot when he is not at the races.

This car is definitely one that you do not see very often.

Double Frame Chromoly, funny car cage, strange struts, fab. Mark Williams aluminum rear, 9" Ford 4:86 progrear, Wilwood brakes, Weld Aluma Star Wheels, and a fiberglass body...weighing in at 2,110 lbs.

The engine is 60 over 427 comp roller cam, steel GM heads, alcohol injected, Zoomy pipes.
The transmission is a Coan powerglide, 5500 stall.
Throttal linkage by Boss engineering, Jasper, IN.

This is Danny's second year dragracing. He attends weekend bracket racing as well as Big Buck events.

The best time off the line for Danny and his 41 Willys Coup is a 5.72 at 120mph, 60ft126.
