A second generation racer, Jeffery Jerrel is from Ashland City, Tennessee. Jeffery started racing in 1993 driving his father’s Chevy Monza and in 1993 was named Rookie Racer of the Year at Music City Raceway in Joelton, Tennessee. He was runner-up in 1994 during the 1994 1/8 mile Bracket Finals in Rockingham.

It was in 1996 that Jeffery Jerrel made the switch from a door car to his first dragster.
During the 1996 October Southern Survival Jeffery took victory in his first Big Money race, taking home $10,000!
Since that
time he has taken home alot of Big Buck events.
1998 Rocket City Nationals - $5,000
1999 Rocket City Nationals - $5,000
1999 Southern Survival - $10,000
2000 Tenn Tuck Race in Bowling Green, Ky. - $10,000
2000 Tenn Tuck Race in BowlingGreen, Ky. - $10,000
(Not a misprint, he won at both of them!)
2000 Southern Survival at Music City Raceway - $2,500
2000 Mega 10’s at Memphis Motor Speedway - $5,000
| To be only 24 years old, Jeffery certainly has a lot to show for the sport of Bracket Racing. He comes across as a quiet, well-mannered racer never one to make a fuss. Then you meet him at the line and he’ll bust you almost everytime! | ![]() |
Jeffery, would like to thank his Mom and Dad, who without them nothing would have been possible; Eagle Industries and James and Penny Bond for giving him the opportunity to drive one of their Eagle Industries Dragsters, his girlfriend, Karen Reeder, his brothers Brandon (who is also a very good racer), and Tyler... And to all the guys who have helped out along the way, John Labbous, Jr., David Lynch, Jr., Rhea King, Derek Denny, Ken Sullivan, and Turtle Dickerson.
