
Ed races for Team Mullis Race Cars along with Brian Forrester, J.R. Leerkamp and former World Champions Steve Cohen and Matt Driskell. A 1963 Corvette Roadster and a 2000 Mullis Dragster are the cars of choice for this winning team.Ed Richardson started his racing career in 1989. At 31 years of age Ed’s achievements include winning NHRA National Events in Super Comp and Super Gas. 1997 NHRA Super Comp World Champion, 2 time Division Champion, and the winner of several Big Bracket races.
In 1997 Ed Richardson was awarded the 1997 Division 2 Sportsman Driver of the Year, and winner to several points races in NHRA.
His home track is DeSoto Memorial in Bradenton Florida.
Plan and Goals for 2000: Ed will be traveling with the Mullis Race Car employee, Brian Forrester. They will be taking along 2 Mullis Dragsters and the Super Gas car to compete at 8 to 10 NHRA National Events, and the full schedule of Division 2 Points Races. If time allows, he will be racing at select IHRA National Events and Big Buck Bracket Races.

The goal is to win the Championship in Super Comp or Super Gas.
