Troy Williams, Jr. from Bradenton Florida is February's Racer of the Month. He drives a 1998 Mullis Dragster, owned by 1997 NHRA SuperComp World Champion, Ed Richardson. Troy is a second generation racer who began racing in 1989. He has had many accomplishments over the past 10 years and has certainly proven to be a top competator in the sport of dragracing. This past 1998 racing season at the IHRA Winter National troy was awarded Quick Rod Champion. At Desoto Dragway in Bradenton, Flordia he took 2 event wins at $5,000 each. At Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach, Flordia Troy won a $5,000 event race. In Huntsville, Alabama at the B&M Series Million Dollar Race Troy Williams Jr. walked away with a win of a cool $201,000! He was also awarded World Bracket Champion by the Moroso Winter Series 5 day race. Troy set the record for most points ever scored in that event. Day 2 of teh Moroso Winter Nationals, he was your runner up at a win of $14,000! His sponsors include Brodix Cylinder Heads, Valvoline, Crager, Goodyear, BG Fuel Systems, Shogun Ind.
