This months feature car of the month is a 1999 Dodge Dakota TRUCK! This unbelieveable ride is owned by Joe Chrisman. The engine is a big block Chrysler 572 CI alcohol injected by Tranz Act. The transmission is a 727 torque Flight also by Tranz Act. The body is GTS Fiberglass. It has a 135" wheelbase and an AutoSport Race Cars Chassie with paint, airbrushing, and letters done by Robert Thacher. Joe Chrisman's sponsors include Tranz Act, Strange Eng., C.T. Peppers, Coan Eng., Indy Cylinder Heads, Keco Motorsports, CAM Motion, Bruce Litton Trailer Sales, Bogart Racing Wheels, M.P.H. Performance Parts, Crank Shaft Specialties, Hoosier Midwest, Nology Ignition, Geradot Injections, Billit Fabracations, Dupont Paints, RT Conversions, VP Fuels Midwest, and Fresh Coat House Paint Services. Joe Chrisman Resides in Carmel, Indiana. His plans include running the VP Fuels Action Quick 16 in Terra Haute, Indiana. Jegs Super Quick events and also plans on attending a ocuple Top Sportsman Events. Joe will also run Mopar races when his schedule allows it. In the 1997 season Joe finished number 6 in points in the Jeg's Super Quick Series. He also won in Bristol TN, and a supercharged event at Bunker Hill, IN. Last season Joe was only able to attend 2 events due to late completion of his truck. In those events he made it to the semifinals and won best appearing vehicle at both events. This is one outstanding truck and we look forward to seeing Joe at the races in 1999!
