Car of the Month

This month's featured car of the month is the Dawson Family out of Dexter, Missouri. The team was racing in Texas so we had a slight delay this month getting our information together, but it is well worth the wait!

This is one HOT DRAGSTER with a new 1999 model, Ben Worthy Built, 235" dragster that also includes Ben's redesigned 4/link suspension which helps in the event of a transmission change.

The Dawson's received the car Turn Key from Ben Worthy's Race Cars in Bradenton, Florida. [For those of you who might not be familiar with a dragrace term, "turn key" is "ready to run down the track!"]

They plan to run a full schedule of NHRA national and divisional events. As well as some bracket events in Bowling Green, Kentucky and St. Louis, Missouri as well as other mid-western and southeastern bracket events across the United States.
