Of a good book that is... The Madison (TN) Branch Public Library has officially started its summer reading program for readers or listeners. There are plenty of awards to the children who finish reading the required books. It's free and it's fun! Doug Ulrich of Madison, Tennessee, volunteered to display his 1996 Bill Mullis Super Comp Car, a beautiful 1966 Nova [which is street legal], and a Jr. Dragster owned by Ashley Hutson. The children were shown a video of the sport of dragracing and had a question and answer session before they were lead outside to have a hands-on look and allowed to sit inside a real race car! The children had a wonderful time learning and having fun at the same time. |
