eziere Enterprises introduces the new Ring Lock flex plate. After a year of testing, Meziere found a common problem in the current flex plates. The thick ones were pretty close to round but wouldn't 'flex' and the ones that could flex weren't round. Having the flex plate round is the key to keeping starters alive. The thick plates could be made to stay round but the lack of flexibility made them oblong holes and worst yet, could result in thrust bearing damage. The out of round flex plates eat expensive starters. The solution is here. Laser cut to .001 and Blanchard ground these flex plates are 'dead on'.
