All remaining event non-qualifiers or no shows in eliminations will automatically receive 10 points.

A driver’s best four finishes for Moser Engineering Sportsman Shootout points will automatically be counted.

All points are awarded to the driver and cannot be transferred under any circumstances. Points are not transferable from one category to another or from one division to another.

A driver may earn Moser Engineering Sportsman Shootout points and qualify in multiple divisions regardless of his or her designated NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series home division.

A driver may qualify in a maximum of two (2) categories for any single Shootout event. Any vehicle used by participants in the Shootout may only be driven by that driver during the NHRA event in which the Shootout is being contested. The vehicle driven does not have to be entered in the NHRA event in which the Shootout is being contested; however the vehicle/driver must pass NHRA technical inspection for applicable eliminator category in which the driver qualified for the Shootout.

All program points will be final once all program events have been completed. If any event is disrupted and rescheduled due to weather or other conditions all points earned up to the last completed full round of eliminations will be counted if 21 days prior to the scheduled Shootout event.
