After an extremely successful 2011 season, the International Hot Rod Association has announced its tracks and drivers of the year from the 2011 Summit Pro-Am and Summit SuperSeries seasons.

Announced at the official IHRA Awards Celebration following the completion of the IHRA Summit Racing Equipment World Finals presented by weekend, these tracks and drivers had tremendous years both on and off the track.
From the highly popular Summit Pro-Am Tour, the 2011 top performers by division include Hot Rod racer Greg Fowler from Division 1, Super Rod racer Cameron Manuel from Division 2, Quick Rod racer Jeremy Mason from Division 3, Super Stock racer David Latino from Division 4, Quick Rod racer Mike Pople from Division 6 and Super Rod Racer Donald Webb from Division 9.
The 2011 overall top performer from the Summit Pro-Am tour was Jeremy Mason. Mason accumulated an incredible four wins on the Summit Pro-Am tour - tied for first among all racers - to take the Division 3 crown.
The IHRA also announced its tracks of the year from the Summit Pro-Am Tour and those tracks were Maryland International Raceway in Division 1, Palm Beach International Raceway in Division 2, London Dragway in Division 3, San Antonio Raceway in Division 4, Nl’Akapxm Eagle Motorplex in Division 6 and Dunn-Benson Dragstrip in Division 9.
Finally, the IHRA also recognized its Summit SuperSeries tracks as well. The Summit SuperSeries tracks of the year earn the title by showing positive growth and success on the track. The 2011 Summit SuperSeries tracks of the year are 75/80 Dragway in Division 1, Pageland Dragway in Division 2, Quaker City Motorsports Park in Division 3, State Capitol Raceway in Division 4, Wisconsin International Raceway in Division 5 and Castrol Raceway in Division 6.
The overall track of the year from the Summit SuperSeries was, for the second year in a row, Rocky Mountain Raceways in Salt Lake City, Utah. RMR has continued to increase its membership and get more and more drivers involved in the popular grassroots program and for that the track has earned the distinction of Summit SuperSeries track of the year once again.
