The chassis was picked up at the Norwolk D3 race last weekend. The body won't be quite done, and we aren't going to rush him cause we want the best job possible. The body is being delivered to the Indy D3 makeup race the week after and I'll bring it home then. I'll install the body on the car and wheel it outside for a photoshoot at that time. Over the next 3 weeks, we'll be hard at work wiring, plumbing and installing all the components to make this a turnkey, race ready car. Of course, I'll be uploading pictures of the progress along the way.

230 tickets, which leaves a smooth 100 left. I'll bet we had no less than 2500 people stop and look at the chassis at Norwalk, and that's the ones we actually saw looking at it! I managed to get everything unloaded this morning and a few pictures snapped. Once I get it on the stand and start some of the assembly I'll be posting almost daily as it progresses along.

I will be picking up the painted body at the Indy make up race this weekend. Since that is a Fri/Sat race, I'll be home Sunday to put it on and get some shots of the body mounted on the chassis.

Won't be long now guys! I've got about 90% of the parts for the assembly in hand at present and will be hot after it once the Indy make up race is over and I have a little time off.

Engine From Steve Schmidt Received - TCI, Fab Shop, Nitro Plate

I'm headed to Indy this afternoon for the D3 race and I'm picking up the engine to bring home with me from Steve Schmidt's shop. TCI has shipped the transmission and converter, Fab Shop is hard at work bending us up some headers which Crisco will Nitroplate and, the big news, Phillip will be bringing the car home from the St. Louis national event next week. I expect there to be a slew of pictures available detailing the assembly over the next few weeks. That ought to get the excitement level up and sell the last 114 slots out pretty quick.
